Mauricio graduated from ACNT in July 2006 with the Diploma of Remedial Massage and started his journey working with Chiropractors and Osteopaths, some massage clinics in Sydney and also did mobile massage for more than 5 years.

After 8 years working independently, he opened Sports & Deep Tissue in Newtown, targeting clients who primarily prefer firm sports and/or deep tissue massage, unlike the popular massage parlours that rarely have a therapist dedicated to offering detailed and specific work. His specialities are Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy.

Combining his abilities, Mauricio aims to eliminate the tightness caused by repetitive stress, poor posture and sports injuries. He incorporates stretching and exercise to improve flexibility, balance and strength. Mauricio has recently developed an interest in natural bodybuilding and is continuously doing research on how to better himself physically, mentally and professionally. He connects well with clients who share similar interests and like to keep themselves fit.

If you are an active sportsperson or frequently go to the gym, then Mauricio will assist you achieve your optimum performance.

Mauricio is registered with all major health funds in Australia and has limited availability between 3:30pm and 9pm weekdays only.
